By default, when you create a matter, only you can view and edit it. Depending on your role, you can share the matter with colleagues, granting them either editing or viewing rights..
- Editing rights: like you, your colleague can modify or delete elements in the matter.
- Viewing rights: your colleague can only view the elements n the matter; they won’t be able to modify any of the content.
After creating your matter, you can share it to grant access to your colleagues.
Depending on their role in the matter, you can assign either an editing or a viewing access.
To share the matter:
- Click on the lock icon
- Search for the user or team you want to grant access to
- Define the access right
- Click on “Add” to finalize
Repeat the steps, and once all the users or teams you wish to give access to are added, click “Confirm”. They now have access to the matter and can find it in their matter list.
Note that, when you give access to a team, you can view the team members ensuring that you are giving access to the right users.
Edit access rights
You can modify access rights at any time.
Click on the icon and change the rights to either viewing or editing.
You also have the possibility to remove access to a user or team by clicking on the cross next to their name. The users will no longer be able to view or access the matter.
