With one click, QuickView analyzes the latest information in your matter (activities, documents, details, previous updates…) and produces a concise summary you can edit, save, and reuse.
What is QuickView? ❓
QuickView is an AI-powered feature that automatically creates a status update for a matter based on the information already stored in the platform. It helps matter owners:
- Summarize complex information in seconds ✨
- Share clear updates with managers and collaborators
- Reduce repetitive writing tasks
- Stay consistent and aligned across all matters
QuickView is especially useful during monthly/quarterly reviews, team handovers, and long-running matters where keeping context is essential.
Where to Find QuickView ☝
You can access QuickView from two places:
- On the Matter Page — a “QuickView” button appears under the matter description (requires can edit permissions).
- In the Matter List — a dedicated QuickView column displays a preview of the latest status update.
How to Generate a New QuickView ✨
1️⃣ Open the QuickView Popup
Click the QuickView button on a matter. A popup will display a short explanation of what QuickView will generate, based on your matter’s content.
2️⃣ Click Generate QuickView
This launches the AI generation. A second popup opens to show the result.
QuickView is generated using:
- Matter description
- Current status
- Matter activities (latest 30 if available)
- Uploaded document names
- Details fields
- Previous QuickView version
